I am emailing arrangements for the forthcoming session at Welcombe Hills this Friday 27th October. Please pass this email on if you know of anyone planning to attend or that may want to drop in. If you are not planning to attend this particular session or circulate the details then please ignore this email.
We will be meeting at 10:00 am by the pedestrian access to the reserve from the hotel car park, indicated by the grey marker and ‘here’ below.
The task location will be in the general vicinity of where we are meeting.
I will provide sturdy gloves, all hand tools needed for the task, and bring tea, coffee and biscuits; and will run through the task before we start. We will be cutting down some of the hawthorn scrub encroaching onto the grassland, and I plan to run through until around 1pm.
I hope you can join us for the morning, or please feel free to drop in if you can’t make a full session. The weather forecast is sunny so I hope to have an enjoyable morning in the great outdoors whilst carrying out some important management of this fantastic Local Nature Reserve.
Should you have any queries or difficulties finding us then please contact me via email up until Thursday mid-day or after then I will be contactable on my mobile. Please see my contact details below.
Thank you for your support, and I hope you can join us on Friday.
